Default The Holy Grail??

Just saw this...not in love with the blue wheels, but there is some lust. (Don't mean to advertise for the seller, but there is some drool factor)

Exclusive car, yes. But not a particularly nice color combo IMO. Aside from the rarity (which is everything in the case of a Turbo S), I don't get why people spend this kind of money for this car.

I agree. I get the "exclusivity" of it, but how many people actually like it?

I personally love the color combo but I can't afford it so it doesn't matter.

Link is still up here - but here's a pic. Cobalt is pretty rare on a 993. Possibly pts for 993's? Its a beaut color. I like it a lot on 964's I've yet to see a 993 in person with cobalt but to me it doesn't fall as pretty as it does on the 964 body panels. I do like how those painted hardbacks tie in with the calipers though

IMO that's a great color. Auction ends in nine days.

It's listed on cars.com for $795,000 if you're impatient and can't wait for the auction to end.

They've had that same car for years. Last time it was marketed it had yellow wheels. Eek! https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...ut-shades.html

I do like the blue on blue with CF trim. The yellow bits (like painted HB seats and seat belts) have to go. I think that particular blue captures the curves of a Turbo S very, very nicely.

Sellers feedback is 80%, which IMHO is abysmal...!

Bid with confidence...

Agreed! Aside from the wheel color I think it's a beauty.

Aside from the blue wheels and the yellow high-lights, she's a peach! Thanks for posting.

I have to second that there was a cobalt over tan for sale a few years back that IMO just did not work. Although I am partial to the color I am not a huge fan of it on the turbo S.
