Default Someone got a good deal!

Anyone here saw on the Classified (kijiji) The 993 for sale for 17,500$ cad? It needed at least suspension and paint refresh.

I emailed the guy and he answered me he had no clue on the value.

He wrote me today and it sold within a day of course. Anyone from here?

I can’t believe people have these cars without being aware of the value...

That sounds maybe too good to be true. I simply cannot fathom that anyone would put a car up for sale without doing a quick check of what they were selling for in the market. Maybe they figured they should use the insurance valuation books (black, blue, red or whatever colour they use, the insurance companies are totally out to lunch on the value of our cars).

I stopped searching kijiji in Quebec because all the really well-priced 911's, 930's, 964's and 993's there were apparently loaded into containers and ready to ship to me, at the seller's expense of course, being sold by a retiree who was moving to Europe because his wife came from there but didn't want to bring the car.
