Steve's been kind enough to answer my PMs I appreciate him spending time doing that, and also for opening himself up for abuse on the 993 forum. We need more members like him.

As a new member who is Steve and what does he do? It's always great to have resources that are good, because it sucks when you don't know who to turn to when you need help.

Steve Weiner - Rennsport Systems. I am not 100% sure what his position there is, but I assume it is something like Master Guru (is that redundant?). Do a search and you will find many posts from him. He is a great guy, very knowledgeable and very supportive.

Master = Guru, so yes its redundant, just like Chai = Tea, often sold at Starbucks

Okay, I've got to stay off the news sites. I initially read the title of this thread as, "Massive Shoot Out at Steve Weiner's." Glad there's no gunplay at your shop, Steve!

He's why I have the suspension I love. But wait. It was a fortune. Maybe he's not just a Master Guru but an evil genius...

+993 for Steve being an asset to this community. He has helped me a handful of times and does not tell you he's too busy, tired, grouchy or just doesn't feel like helping. We need to either give back (to Steve) or "pay it 4ward". There's some who may be just as knowledgeable or experienced, that just won't help you, unless you're a paying customer. I understand that these individuals are in the business to support their families. If I was in a position to pay someone to do some of the work on my car, lived close enough to take it there, then I would do so. Until then, it's guys like Steve that keep us (that must turn our own wrenches) from completely screwing up our cars :-)
Thanks Steve.
