Default New Paint for Baby

Wanted to give Baby a fresh start for her street duties.

It was about time...so I did it, painted Baby, First Class, at Vision Motorsports in Laguna Hills, CA, painted by Chris Hukill. In the process Chris removed:
-Glass, got new windshield,
-Bumper covers front and rear off,
-Mirrors off,
-Top door sills off,
-Door handles off,
-Hood off

The car was color sanded...it will be polished again and a large amount of EXPEL added to ant vulnerable body panels.

I have the stock cat back on, with Fabspeed Maxflow mufflers...they sound ideal, for me.

Was it expensive? Damn right it was (Please don't ask...I am trying to forget)
I just could not put a cheap re-spray on Baby. It just wouldn't have been right...she has been so good to me all these tears, since December 1999. She (we) are retiring to an occasional DE/Time Trial.

I have lots of Racing Parts for sale on the 993 Forum as well as the Racing and Drivers Ed Forums.

Smile Call the car Baby?

Porsche had a race car called Baby, back in the day...so I am continuing the tradition: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porsche_935

So Baby it is....

Smile I love the ...

Bumperettes...to be truthful, I just forgot about getting them removed. The car went into the shop mid-July, out of sight out of mind. I can always do that later.

Good grief that's a beautiful car. It looks amazing. I need to get mine resprayed. I'd love to know what your job cost. Would you mind PMing me and letting me know?

Did you go single stage or 2 stage?

I had a hard time finding a shop that would do single stage on the work I am going to have done on my 964 but I finally did find a geat local shop that could do single stage.

Default Lighten up maybe?

Find something more relevant to comment upon maybe? That's, what I call my car. Good enough for the Porsche Factory for one of their cars, it's good enough for me. Google it...you'll see.

Truly wicked! Looks beautiful. Yea, I'm sure it cost a bundle. But your car is worth more today than it was yesterday. So consider it an investment! Nice Baby, I say!
