Default ignition switch replacement : Fail

Today I tried to replace the ignition switch (electrical part) (http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...on-switch.html)

I need to few bandaids on my hand and luckily I don’t have a backache! But i'm very disapointed because I failed. I had access to the switch but wasn’t able to remove the visible screw. And, my god, how do you remove the top screw that you can’t even see?

For once I thought I could do it by myself... but I will need to go to the shop...

You have to remove the bottom portion of the dash.

I the link I followed, they did not refer to removing a portion of the dash. I will look at it. Thanks

Thanks Norush for your advice! I removed the dash and was able to make it!

Now i'm proud I could DIY it!

I did it without removing any dash parts, but it is tight and you need a short stubby cross head screwdriver and feel you way around.

Thumbs up

Good work! Practice builds confidence for the next more difficult repair.
