Post Techron Cleaner Again

Hi there,
I hope everyone is doing great!
Few days ago I've got bottle of Techron Fuel System Cleaner Exclusive Synthetic Formula 12 fl.oz.
I was going to empty the bottle into the tank ...but I thought it would be a good idea to ask you guys if I've got the right bottle before I will proceed. And there is a little notice on the bottle saying:
"Not recommended for air-cooled two-cyrcle engines." I guess 993 air cooled engine is NOT a two-cyrcle one! I attached the image below.

I just realized the bottle on the image has a little different lable.
On my bottle the label says:

Chevron

Techron Concetrate

Fuel System Cleaner

Exclusive Synthetic Formula

I'm a little affraid to put something really wrong into the gas tank...

Used it for years; you should be fine.

Probably not recommended for 2-cycle engine (lawnowers, hedge trimmers, etc.) because they require you to mix the lubricating oil with the gas. Techron prob. destroys the lubricating action.

No worries, Sir.

Just pour that stuff in, fill the tank, and drive the poop out of it.

Happy "cleaning",.....

Foreign Intrigue in Maine usually has a pretty good price on individual bottles of Techron in their yearly January sale.

You can buy Techron from any Chevron station, usually for a lot less than the mail order places.

The instructions are referring to 2 stroke lawnmower type engines, not 4 stroke auotomotive engines.

Question

One question concerning the use of Techron.

I use Chevron Gas religiously.

Over the last few years concerning posts on Techron, they usually say something about getting an oil change shortly after using a bottle of Technron in the Gas Tank.

Is this a Golden Rule or just recommended.

Do you regular users Like RAY, use it between oil changes?
Clarification would be appreciated

Thanks

This was recently revisited. If you haven't used any fuel treatment in a long time (or ever) then there's a whole bunch o' crap built up on the back of the valves (and elsewhere?) that'll be knocked loose. It's advisable, in that scenario, to run the motor hard w. a bottle of fuel treatment, then change the oil to get all the garbage out of your crankcase that may have blown past the rings.

If you already use Techron pretty regularly, then there's not a big accumulation of dirt being knocked loose, and you shouldn't worry about only using it just prior to an oil change.

Porsche has a TSB about Techron. As I recall, here's the procedure:

1. Run tank to near empty; add Techron; refuel
2. Run tank to half empty; refuel
3. Run tank to near empty; refuel
4. Change oil.
