For the voltage regulator, you can pick one up at your favorite online parts vendor.

I sourced mine from autohausaz last year when I refinished the fan and shroud.

Dinging does not indicate damage to the fan yet. I would pull the fan and look for fatigue marks where the blades attach to the hub. If it all looks good and a new shaft eliminates the contact you are probably good to go. Also some who have abandoned the dual pulley have experienced alternator whistling sounds at idle. For street driven cars there is a reason for the stock arrangement. I would be reluctant to replace it with any system that lowers the alternators performance.
