Need Pricing for New Gauges
Help!!!! I unfortunately purchased a set (complete with white faces) of "new" gauges off Ebay. Upon arrival (left at doorstep by FedEx Ground) in a badly damaged box , the gauges were damaged and did not function. I filed a complaint with FedEx. They are now asking for "verification of value" via catalog or any other reliable source of 993 gauges. My local dealer is reluctant to provide anything in writing as to their replacement cost. I have checked the Tweeks catalog and Performance/Automotion both which have no offering of 993 gauges. Anyone have a source for pricing of each gauge????
Bottom line, if you buy items "off" ebay that do not meet their reserve you are not protected by eBay or PayPal etc. Buyer Beware........Lesson learned.
Thanks,

Used PayPal. Their policy is that any items purchased outside of Ebay and received by the buyer are not covered by their Buyer Protection Policy. It only applies if the items were not received/delivered. I filed a complaint which they denied. The seller refuses to refund my payment. Payment was completed with funds I had accured on Ebay, hence and unfortunately, no credit card involvement.
The gauges in Performance/Automotion are VDO but only for pre-'95 911's.
I'm not familiar with FVD.
Thanks, Steve
