It is a big project to rebuild a 3.6 motor. You are penny wise and pound foolish to use any part that is not OEM or which hasn't been blessed as being as good as or better than OEM.
You should strongly consider sending the heads, cam towers, rods, and rocker arms to a Porsche specific shop for rehabbing. I sent all of my stuff to Steve Weiner. Steve knows all the design areas of concern on the 911 motor and has devised tooling to rehab all your parts. He can source non-OEM valves that are proven, and uses an alternate material for the valve guides.
A "decent" gasket set for the 3.6 motor in green Viton will set you back about $600. You can buy cheaper for a couple of hundred dollars, but you don't want to see your engine become a leaker when you start it up. Put in the best gasketing you can obtain. I used the Wrightwood Racing Viton package, and so far have zero leaks on the rebuild.
