You made the right decision by deciding not to sell it. It may very well be worth much more than you had it priced at.

I've always loved the 993 and have been fortunate enough to own several good ones over the years, I've always subtly modified my cars to my own taste and I tend to drive them all regularly....I've been driving my 964 and Spyder a lot more and honestly the 993 had been a bit neglected. It was really fun to get it out and drive it again...it will stay in the family! Cheers, Mark
