Default Turn signal issue

I've searched and tried all the potential solutions that my feeble brain can understand.

Here's the issue. When I use my left turn signal, the indicator on the dashboard flashes at 2x or 3x the normal speed, indicating that one of my bulbs is not flashing. A quick visual inspection by my twins confirms that the front blinker is not working but the rear is. I try a new bulb - no joy. I try the bulb from the right side cause it is working - no joy. I search RL and check the fuses and even replace them - still no joy.

In a matter of about 3 minutes, I've exhausted all of my DIY capabilities. By the way, the bulb does light up when I turn on the left side parking light. Any clues? Thanks.

The front turn signal bulb has two filaments, one for the park/position light, (5W) and one for the turn signal. (21W) They are connected to separate circuits.
The turn signal circuit to your bulb has somehow been disconnected, I would guess due to corrosion in the bulb holder or a wire problem somewhere. It's probably time for fault finding with a voltmeter.
Cheers,
Tore

Also use nickle base bulbs, the copper/brass base ones tend to corrode
