On Saturday I decided to take "Black Beauty" (my '98 c2 cab) on a day trip from Nashville, TN to to Metropolis Illinois (about 150 miles) to try my luck at Harrah's Casino on the Ohio River. Although it doesn't look like it in this shot, the waters of the mighty Ohio seemed like a mile wide as I parked in front to take in the view. The casino is just to the left and docked on the water.

I also wanted to try out my new 18" 996 high-gloss turbo wheels on the interstate. The improvement in grip and handling (from my 17" stock Carrera cup wheels) is like night and day. On the twisty back roads of middle Tennessee, the improvement is nothing short of remarkable.
