California Smog and LPMM
Need to repeat smog test here in Cali. Would a LPMM muffler with stock cats cause any problems? Just wondering if visually they might question the modded mufflers if they look under the car. Anybody experience any issues?

I've taken my Fister IIs through CA smog testing, which are similar to LPMM I'm guessing.
Smog monkeys wouldn't know what to look for anyway, so you're good with visual inspection.
Just get the car plenty hot before you go in and you should pass like I did.
Good luck

...And Fister IIs are more modified than the cross pipe installed in the LPMM.
If you're running an OEM cat and your O2 sensors are operating correctly, the smog guys would not have a clue as to modified mufflers, or not...Unless of course you run Fister IIIs or some cup car setup . Then the noise would be a dead giveaway!

The way I understand CA smog is that everything back past the cat really doesn't matter.
I just recently took my cab in for smog test and the guy was blown away at how well it tested. Had it really good and hot when I went in and my car passed with flying colors. I myself was surprised at the "allowable" levels vs. the actual "reported" values on the printout they gave me. I have Fister stage 3's which look stock, but regardless, I doubt anyone would give you a hard time or notice a LPMM mod visually.
