I've seen a number of posts recently about the high costs of plug wires for the 993. I had the same problem with my BMW 850. Dealer wanted $1,200. I found the manufacturer that BMW uses in the US and went to them directly. They cost me $350. They use all the Beru components, etc. They make a set for the 993 for $325, and while they do not list it, they will sell a set for the 993TT for $165..
