Default Anything between CV joint and end cap?

First let me say WOOHOO! Five link suspension....not. Rediculous time for me to even remove the axle assemblies. I could have had both axles out if an SC, eaten lunch, caught some 24 hour of LeMans action in the same time I burnt just getting one out. Anyway, I could have sworn there were gaskets between the joint and the drive flange?? Is the cap sufficient to prevent grease seepage from the joint?
Thanks
Curt

No gasket, cap does the trick.

What Brian said...Even my previous turbo look cars did not have gaskets between axel flange and trans; but there were always caps on the ends
