Steven's 380 HP? monster
i pick up "european car" and i see a beautiful black 993 convertible on some scales, so i decide to check out the article "insoric real-power dyno system." my eyes pick up another 993 in same article, except this one is red. so i look closer. i notice a tow hook protruding from the center of the front bumper...hmmm. i've forgotten about the convertible at this point because there is only ONE red 993 that i know of that has that tow hook in that location so now my curiosity is really piqued.
i start flipping the pages to see what else is described about the car.....and bam! i see the spec sheet...4.0 litre engine, gt3 crank, lwf, ...and then there's a shot of the car's *** and the plate says "40 RSR" and the deal is sealed. it's steven tory's red monster. the article is about software that replaces a chassis dyno to approximate power. how valid/accurate is it? i have no idea. what i do know is they are estimating steven's car to be pumping out 380 bhp. with the reduced weight of his car, that thing is a rocket.

That is only a teaser.....the full info on Steven's "Red Rocket" will be presented in Excellence: Project 993 Part 7 (Dyno and Tuning) ......Part 6 will be coming out next, as it is currently "in press" at the layout stage.
Ask me how I know? I wrote the European Car "Insoric" dyno article (it is an amazing product!) and all of the 993 Project articles for Excellence.
