Default Michelin PS2 without N spec?

Been looking for some new tires to replace the Pilot Sport All Seasons on my NB C2. The car is on Cup 2 wheels. Seems like the only PS2 tires available to fit the Cup 2s are the N spec tires. I have seen several threads that advise against using N spec tires as they are an inferior tread design. Are the PS2s available without N spec or is that the only option in that specific tire?

Buy em. As long as the DOT code dates are fresh. Within 2 years. One year better.

You are either confused or trolling. Neither is a good thing.

I must be confused, I swear I read a recent thread that some N spec tires are inferior to the non-N spec. Anyway, thanks for the answers

Not inferior. Possibly different. Usually more expensive.

Just a FYI. PS2's are being discontinued.

This would explain the back order status on many sizes- but the PSS is back ordered as well. Where did you hear this?
