Question Interior vinyl products ?

Starting to see the effects of 8 years of sunshine on my dark blue interior vinyl. Any recommendations for products that will bring some depth and life back to the vinyl ? BTW, I hate the Armor All look. Thanks.

Sounds interesting. There are a couple of retailers for the stuff pretty close to me so I'll pick some up and let you know the results.

I have been using 303 for a number of years. Its good stuff, does not produce a sticky surface, does not overshine surfaces, and apparently is missing the "bad stuff" that Armorall uses. A bottle goes a long way...that combined with Zaino and you are all set! ;-)

Try Vinylex, it's seems to work as well as the much more expensive stuff.

Vinylex works great. I second its recommendation. I have also heard great things about 303. Probably can't go wrong with either.

Some cool products come out of the aerospace industry - e.g. Plexus plastic cleaner / polish. Thanks for the info on the 303.

Anyone try the Eagle One vinyl product ? I just picked some up and tried it on a panel in my truck, it really added some depth without getting "shiny" on me.

303 provides actual UV protection which may prevent but not restore sun damage to smooth vinyl or leather surfaces. Applying and then wiping with a microfiber cloth avoids overspray and provides an even matte finish. Can be purchased on the net or locally at marine supply stores. They also make carpet and cab top products. Personally I use Wolfsteins Raggtopp for my Cab.

Tried the Eagle One product, its a "no-go" for me. Too shiny and way too much silicone in it. I guess I'll have to make the drive for some 303 !

I find Vinylex provides the highest UV protection with minimal shine. Suggest having it soak into Vinyl several minutes before whipping off. To help with UV rays, I purchased a canvas cover that covers the interior when the top is down.

I picked up some 303, its pretty good stuff. Minimal shine yet it seems to bring out the "grain" in the vinyl. I'll see how it holds up.
