REMINDER: South Beach Breakfast Club this Sat. (maybe a new starting place?)
OK, it's that time again!
I though (and this was talked before) maybe we should have starting place little more South since it seems everyone is driving nirth to get to the KK we meet, and there's nothing special about the place.
So, any suggestions? Some Dunkin' Donuts or KK Around Aventura - 595 area?
Also, "outsiders" who might be joining (Pin?), let me or Robin know what's happenig, shotgun is free in my car & should be free also on Robin's car.
Let's hear it, who's coming & what should be our new starting place?
Here are two DD addresses which are quite close to I-95 (just suggestions).
550 S FEDERAL HWY, DANIA
825 W HALLANDALE BEACH BLVD, HALLANDALE
Only KK further South is at 590 N.E. 167Th Str. Miami.
I don't think FourBucks opens that early so it's out.
Oh, and Kristoffer, usual time now is at 6.30, can you make it? (didn't help last time though...)

Minua vituttaa! You guys have way too much fun - you make me want to move to the US! I haven't even met another Porsche owner in Denmark yet, never mind meeting for beach breakfasts. Do you have to rub it in?

Where have you learn those "nice Finnish words?
You need to look harder (& maybe rub it in).

I'm in
Live in fort lauderdale so the KK on federal was only about 2 miles for me -
Nonetheless I'm up for someplace farther south if that works better for other folks.
6.30 is early but at least no traffic on the roads ...
whats the normal agenda for these meets? i'm new to the club and uninformed.
see you then!

Hi FF,
It looks like I should be able to make it
I will email you and Robin on Thursday to confirm that
I will be staying at a Hilton Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale on Friday night, is it near the meeting place?
Btw how's the weather there? I was a bit worried about the "storm"

gmolinari,
"Normal" procedure is such that everyone shoes up at KK on federal at 6.30 or before (this used to be 6 am...) and then when we have chatted a while and had few coffees, we head "out" and eventually end up at South Beach and have breakfast there.
Usually we're done around 9 am so everyone can head for other Saturday activities.
Early time is as you said, because then there's not that much traffic, we get good parking and people still have whole Saturday left after we're done.
Hope to see you there.
Since Pin stays at Ft. Lauderdale I think it's better if we start at KK and maybe we can discuss if we change the starting place for next one or not.
Good to hear Pin!
Are you at airport Hilton or somewhere else?
Our start is quite close so we can do it maybe so that I'll pick you up around 6 and we then go together to KK.
Then you can jump in Robin's car and ride with him to South Beach (or vise versa), from there one of Ft. Lauderdale boys could then give you a ride back to your hotel?
Or do you have plans for Saturday (other than maybe going to cruise?)
Weather here has been quite rainy, nothing bad, just normal summer wather, no bad storms yet (knock on wood)...
Hey, where are all the usual suspects?

Hi FF,
The hotel information is:
FT LAUDERDALE AIRPORT HILTON
1870 Griffin Rd
Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33004-2214
If I can be back before 9:30am, I should be okay (my wife and her friends will probably just wake up by that time hehehe )

Pin,
Sounds perfect!
It should be all be just fine. We have always finished around 9 am. and it's about 30 min. drive back to airport area.
We can finish little before 9 am so it will be on the safe side.
Let's see who's coming etc. and we can confirm on Thursday but we can keep it settled that I'll pick you up around 6 am. in front of your hotel (I hope your room is't close to the front, they might wake up when we take off!)

Pin,
Either me (hood) or Finn can pick you up in the morning to go meet at KK. I would definitely suggest you ride shot gun in Finn's car while we do the cruise, as that's a once in a life time kick *** ride. (Finn, did you take out your passenger seat?)
Which resturant are we raiding this time at Ocean drive?

Pin - If you do ride with the Finn, wear your "Depends"!
As one of the usual suspects - it looks like I'm good to go too. Also a good chance to show off my new 993 TT "big reds"! ...and lord knows I'll need them after trying to catch up with the Finn.

Pin,
Sounds good, maybe we'll do as Robin suggested and he picks you up and you'll ride shotgun with me when we head for the breakfast.
Robin & Terry,
I was counting on you! Can't wait to see your new brakes, although the real test will be one week later.
BTW, I've seen some of the photos you've taken (and you probably have camera w/ you), would you mind taking the camera and shoot some photos?
Don't worry, buys are just making fun of me and my Finnish driving habits, and let me assure you, I have two HWFMR turtle stickers on my car so that itself guarantees smooth & slow ride.
And I (now) have passenegr seat in my car, you don't have to sit on the floor!

Can a non-PCar (not yet) owner come? I have a slow heavy E46 323 cabrio.
Don't worry, when it's paid off I plan on buying a 993 C2, which is about a year away.
I would at least like to come and take pictures for wallpaper for various servers where I work.
While riding my bike back from Hollywood back up to Ft. Lauderdale, I snapped this picture this past weekend. By the way, I just moved here from the DC area about two weeks ago and South Florida kicks ***.

Optimo,
I think you can since you're joining the group soon (if you don't we'll come and sledgehammer your BMW into a Porsche lookalike!).
We already have one "outsider" with his Z06 but he's getting his GT3 as soon as Porsche can deliver.
This IS for Porsches only but couple exeptions (for future owners) are ok.
Hopefully makes you want to trade that BMW to Porsche sooner!
Robin (& others),
Maybe we'll go to "Front Porch" since I talked about it last time ( a bit of confusion for one idiot, me...)?
Other idea I had, do we have time if we go to Turnpike, then stop quickly by at Robin's garage (if he lets us there...) and then go to South Beach?
if don't hand around there long, we should still have enough time so that we don't make Pin to miss his cruise...
