Thanks for the correction Andreas, and for all of your helpful input here. You are correct of course. AC and Brunnhoelzl were the only two that were not made in China, but only Brunnhoelzl is made in the US. OTC is made in Spain for what it's worth.

By the way, according to the Manager at Jackpoint Jack Stand, the AC floor jack is too wide to work with their jack stands which require a maximum width of 11 3/4" at the front.

Cheers!

Fox, I use the Arcan XL 35 (kong daddy) and an Arcan 2.5(mini -kong) from Costco, the $99 special. They make a fine 1-2 punch. Neither with a hockey puck will go as low as 4" but keep in mind, if you lift the front jack point 2" without a puck (a 1 min endeavor), you will be able to slide in the rear jack with a puck and remove the front one.

I had to wait a long time to get the $99 special costco one in blue. They had it in Arena red forever. Something to consider.

Love my AC Hydraulics jacks. I've had a DK20 for probably 14 years and recently bought a DK13HLQ. Very high quality. One thing I love is I have total control over the lowering speed, which was not the case for other jacks I have owned.

I'm using the ASCO stands now. Thought about adding a pair of Jackpoint stands for the rear, but have heard the same issue that my AC jacks don't work well with them.

+1 Having owned a number of jacks over the years, I splurged to get this at over $500. For the record, I've had several of the aluminum Harbor Freight jacks, and both failed within a year (internal seal leak downs). My personal safety is more important that the low cost of these jacks.

On the AC jack, the rapid rise foot pedal is a time and back saver. And, the decent rate of the jack is adjustable so that you can control how fast the jack lowers the load. A "nice to have" extra.

My expectation is that my current jack be my last to own. And, if that proves true, than the extra cost for the safety, durability, and features will be well worth it.
