What's the braking distance on a 993 at 100 mph? If reflex time is 0.5 second, how many feet does the car travel at 100 mph before the toe reaches the brake pedal and then how many more before the car begins to slow at all and then how many feet before the car slows below generally fatal speeds, say 25 mph?

Keep in mind that a radar detector cannot be mounted on a visor or next to a mirror on the windshield if the forward "line of sight" (ish) points through the tinted band at the top of the factory windshield. This tinted band (blue?) has been tested to show it absorbs and scatters radar.

I've had my V1 above the rearview mirror (w/remote display) for years & it perfoms flawlessly. In my tests there was no difference when mounted there or the middle of the windshield. AFAIK, the tinting for a 993 windshield does not interfere w/a radar detector.
What Valentine says about windshield tinting.
