After much research and debate I decided to design my own Carrera side scripts. I like the triple stripe look of the traditional "Porsche" script and wanted a smaller "Carrera" then most of the others I have seen. This required a fair amount of tweaking each letter ( especially the "4") so it looked correct, even though it's not technically accurate. I created several versions of Carrera, Carrera 4, and Porsche… I figure I can change them out with the seasons. This silver 3M film is a perfect match for the wheels. Anyway-just something a little different.

tiny silver line into front & rear bumper may look good ???
IMO.... Martini stripes are great.
The side scripts look too boy tuner.......It's obvious it's a Carrera. Seems to detract from the graceful lines of these 993.
To the general public I come across it is not obvious it is a Carrera or a 911.
I may see a Porsche a week - possibly more now the SUV and 4 door are becoming more common.
If I'm lucky I may see two or three 911's per month.
993's -- forget it.
So the decal is mainly for educational purposes.
A friend has a business that makes Porsche-appropriate graphics both in conventional stick-on vinyl, and magnetic versions. Lots of choices, including Carrera script, Porsche logotype, Martini, Gulf, Rothmans, etc. liveries, number circles, and more.
