Post Need installer for suspension system upgrade

I'm working through the decision process of wanting to upgrade the suspension on my '95 993 Cab. I'm either going to go with the RoW M030 or the PSS-9 system (w/ RS sway bars) along with a strut tower brace.
For a number of reasons, I'm not likely to tackle this job myself and need some recommendations on where I can go to have someone install the upgrade, corner balance & align the car.
I live in Indianapolis, IN but don't mind taking the car to the 'right place' if it's within a couple of hundred miles.
Thanks much.
Rick.

Rick,

If you are willing to drive to Atlanta, me and Hank would be happy to help you install the M 030 system for you.

You can e-mail me privately if you have any questions.

Rick, go with the PSS-9 setup w/ RS sway bars. It will provide a much more compliant ride with all the adjustability you'd want for street or track work. If you go with the M030, you might begin wondering what could have been......

I'm 99.9% set on going with the PSS-9; it's the installation that I'm struggling with right now. This is clearly the kind of thing that you want done right the first time. Thus far I haven't found anyone near to me that is the right choice for this part of the project - hopefully that will change.

Anyone have comments on the following:
Steinel's (in Cleveland, OH area I think)
Performance Alignment (in Cinci, OH)

Robin - I really appreciate your offer; I may end up taking you up on it!

Thanks much.

Hi Rick:

I have the same dilemma. I want the Pss-9 kit, but there is no one I trust (from the experiences of others) in Atlanta to do the installation, alignment/corner balance (including kinematic toe), and subsequent fine tuning of the handling.

The M030 is a simpler (less adjustment) install, but not too great a performance leap/improvement over stock.

Now if Robin (and Hank) does your PSS-9 install, I will have less single malt to buy him as a bribe to "help" with mine

Let us know what you decide.

You might give Terry a call, I know he used to Club Race a C2S and has extensive Porsche experience. Purchased some items from him and found him honest and easy to work with.

Doesn't Greg have a mechanic that works on his car up there?

I sent Rick the suggestion of using Performance Alignment in Cincinnati. The owner Bill races a Sports 2000 and was in the National Runoffs at Mid Ohio. He also helps out a few race teams like Doran, Schumacher, and The Racers Group. He is more than qualified.

Steinel's would do a good job but the are a long distance from you, close to 6 hours.

Rick, Who ever does your work I would make sure that they get the ride heights where you want them, you could end up a lot lower than what you imagined and it will make driving on the street a dangerous (for your front end) proposition. I would also recommend getting the front protection bar from Gert www.carnewal.com .
