Last Century's Best 911?

I had a 1980-something 930 Turbo hanging on my wall while at college. Even though I drove a 1982 Honda Prelude, I aspired to the Ultimate Porsche. Well, that's what I thought then. The 911 Turbo would still have to be very close to the top of my list of best 911s because, to me, it oozes the essence of what a Porsche is.

I say
1) 993 RS
2) GT3
3) 2.7 RS
4) 1975 Turbo (the first real street turbo?)
5) 959
Funny enough, I've owned one model of each family of P-car since the 964 (i.e. 964, 993, 986, 996) and I haven't managed to own any of my favorite top 5... Maybe one day

oh. didnt realize boxsters had a number. thanks.
for me, my top 3 would be:
1)993 turbo
2)930 turbo (80's) - i agree with Hank on this and had the same poster in college- were these the turbos that got porsche in to trouble due to the high proclivity to wrap them around a tree?
3)if we are covering the entire century, then we should mention some crazy Ruf or Gambella modified 911 - after all, today is newyears eve.

Since you have a Cup car I would say you are doing just fine.
My list goes like yours except I would replace the '75 Turbo with street legal GT-1 (that counts as a 911 right?)
