Thought the 993 enthusiasts would enjoy this epic hillclimb in an Audi S1.

Is the video just ever-so-slightly sped up? Like 1.2x-ish

It does seem a little sped up, his hands and fingers move just a little too quickly....

But boy, that car understeers badly!

I'm not so sure...watch ANY Pro Rally/WRC in car video, and I bet you'll think the same. Insane car control...always been more than impressed with rally. Nothing more than managed chaos.

Old school danger at every turn...no armco, no runoff, just trees, boulders, ravines, and drop off's at every turn. TOTAL committment.

Check out that left foot braking, mostly left foot braking.
How come he doesn't need to hill and toe for downshifts?
Based on sounds, I'd say it's a bit sped up.

.
VERY close gearbox and he is downshifting very late...you'll note that he does position for H/T and blips just a bit.
