F1's highly exclusive Paddock Club was once described as the "sanctum sanctorum" of motorsport, with a security level comprarable to that of most nuclear weapons facilities.
Access to the Paddock Club is typically not for sale to the public. It is an amenity made available to the teams and their sponsors (at great cost) in order to provide a local venue for entertaining as the circus moves around the world.
Your best bet for access (as mine was) is through business relationships with the sponsoring companies of the teams or the teams themselves (ie: Compaq, Shell, Jaguar, Computer Associates, etc). Even though the Club is typically set up over the garages and, thus, provides only a view of the front straight at most circuits, the amenities are nice and, if you're an F1 fan, it's an experience worth having.
Regards to all.

David,
Paddock Club tickets can be purchased by everybody (public).
Doug,
I have only found a german site (http://www.formel1-karten.de/Formel1...b_tickets.html) that sells Paddock Club tickets for Indianapolis (approx. $4300 per ticket).

Thank you...
That is what I was looking for. I have had them in the past from GPTOURS.COM but they will not sell them to me unless I book a whole package from them.
I will contact them tomorrow.

Last time I was at a GP was in Austria. Tyrolean "Airlines" lost my luggage so for 4 of the 9 days I was there I live on Austrian version of "large" shirts and undies. Felt like one of the Village Peeps.
Hung out with Red Bull Reps. Very nice Irishmen there with Eddie Irvine.

As a comp, it is wonderful. Did it the first year at Indy.
To pay 4300 bucks for a breakfasts of fresh salmon and champagne, with some race team wearables, while nice, is a pretty pricey.

Speaking of Indy, anyone else going to the F1 this year? I'll be there with seats in Turn 1 and will be joined by 3 other Porsche owning colleagues from work. If so, we should hook up again, so we can wave at Doug and the $4,300 club members in the paddock. I'll pay my $43 for one of those turkey legs and a big old Fosters....
