Steve, it was a brief pleasure meeting you and Rufus on the morning of that fateful day. As others have said, what's most important is your health and I'm glad to hear you're doing ok. I'm also glad to hear the heart and soul of Rufus will live on.
I too hope we don't lose your presence here on Rennlist and I certainly hope this doesn't mark the last of your Porsche ownership experiences. Perhaps toss your hat into the ring for one of those 60th PCA 991 GTS Club Coupes? Or take a slower route and pickup a long-hood 911/912.
Either way best of health and best of luck to you. Stay in touch with the RL community.

As with everyone, best news is concerning you. Glad to hear your insurance coverage is working out, too.
The future? I'm sure you'll take the right "road" for you. Don't be a stranger!

Steve, congratulations on your decision to send Rufus to a new home.

Steve, I've purposely have stayed out of current threads about you and Rufus. I'm sorry for your loss, I'm glad that you have started the grieving process with what's best for Rufus as Todd is definitely in a good position to bring Rufus back to his old glory.
On a side note, you may even make more friends in your community without your worry of having a too loud car. Be strong, be healthy and be happy.
Take care,
Johnny

Race Car
Steve, sorry to hear about it, but happy you are OK. I can imagine what you feel, years back I totaled a 911SC Ruf-modified car due to aquaplanning. If I hadn't totaled it, I would still have it today...

Steve - Sorry about the car and glad you are OK. Good to hear things worked out. Sorry to see you that won't be a regular around here going forward. I purchased a set of sway bars or springs from you about 10 years ago. It was a classic seamless Rennlist transaction.
Take care,
Shawn

comiserations, a beautiful car, I'm glad no one was hurt, that the insurance played nice, and that the car might live again in all its magnificence.
Best Regards

The right decision, Steve. Of all the pics from our road trips together, this one in MT somehow captures it. Health is #1, be well.

Yeah Steve I've been following this terrible news but wanted to give you time to sort things out. I saw Rufus being transported by our shop today on its way to Todd's. Hopefully it will be resurrected into another tub and not parted out.
Best to you and stay in touch!

OMG Steve I'm glad you are ok. RUFUS was special, but people can't be replaced. I hope you stay around and dont leave just because RUFUS is in intensive care. You are a great person that is always respected and offer a lot of good information. I really am glad your OK my friend...

Any more pics to share?!
Steve: glad that the financial side of the equation resolved itself and more importantly, you are well!
