Very very easy, just pull the speedometer out and disconnect the cable behind.

For the record it turned out to be defective front discs. They were careful not to use the word warped...though it was uncanny how at low speeds there didn't appear to be any problem however as they were heated up the shudder through the steering wheel became worse and worse. The tech guy assured me that nothing short of rallying the car would be enough to damage healthy turbo brakes which strangely didn't do much to reassure...Anyway, at least the front discs and pads were replaced free of charge.

That's one dealership I WOULD NOT visit again. How did they find out about this?
