It's been almost 5 years since the last bottom up detail on my Carrera S. The car has only been driven 400 miles since then but it still gets a little dirty on the crappy Chicagoland roads.

First, I replaced the 32" LCD TV with a 40" LED TV so I could watch the NFL playoffs. Like most of the country, the last week has been really cold here, so not the best timing.

Here are some pix's at the start of the process, the paint will be be done last probably around April after the chassis, engine and interior are done. More to come on the progress.

Okay, I know I should drive it more but I don't have time right now. With the prices for 993's I don't know if I will ever drive it again, the car now has 11.3k miles (high optioned car). I drive the 1983 944 (32k miles) when I can.

A few months and the car will be clean again, I hope.
