Post Dry Sump Question

Other than a burp of extra oil all over the engine bay if you overfill with oil without the motor running, are there any other potential problems? Seals, ruptures, etc.?

Bob;

Did you drain some oil out of the tank, or did you pull the DME relay, and crank the engine over? If you did any one of these options you would be okay. Just mop up the oil that will be dripping on your heat exchanger.

Thanks, Kev... fortunately, it was a question not resulting from an action. Someone asked me about the potential problems and I said "none, except the overflow" and they questioned the seals ... so I asked.
