Last night I returned from a 7 day road trip to British Columbia. I picked up a friend in Eugene Oregon, 1200 miles RT from my home. I got the route from the book "Destination Highways BC", by 2 Canadian motorcycle riders.
Route was Vancouver, Whistler, Lilloet, Cache Creek, Kam Loops, Salmon Arm, Vernon, Cold Stream, Needles/Fauquier ferry, Nakusp, New Denver, Kaslo, Kootenay Bay ferry, Creston, Cranbrook, Vermillion Crossing, Banff, Lake Louise, Golden, Kalispell Montana and home. No snow, a few drops of rain, friendly natives, and many smiles per mile. One modest speeding ticket in California on my way up.
Re-entry to the US elicited a full turnout of 6 border agents with a, "Well, what do we have here?" ROW M030 suspension had a few scrapes in the front getting on/off ferries and doing steep driveways, but what a delight on those roads. I would have preferred a softer suspension for the freeway miles to get there and back, but it was worth it.
