Are there any stats of how many of these came to the US? According to Canepa, 22 or 24? I forgot. Look forward to hearing if other's know of any around.
MY QUESTION IS: HOW MANY 993 S VESUVIO WERE THERE IN TOTAL?

THANK YOU,

It's a Tip from Japan by the way. In the meantime I enjoy my 991 C2S on a almost daily basis here in NY...

I saw you last October at the Concours in Greenwich. This was pretty exciting as I was only a few weeks away from having my vesuvio shipped over from Europe, and have never seen one in person.

Finally got mine back from a big service after waiting for a few months for the car to come from Belgium. ended up putting on new wheels, new suspension and an engine out service replacing anything that was deficient. Very happy with the car.

Great to have another one in AZ! Did you get it serviced at Mcillvain as well or a different shop?

I had never seen another vesuvio car in person and had brought my car to Luftgekuhlt in CA this past weekend. Went to the Petersen museum cars and coffee the day before and found my cars twin. Managed to get some pics of them together.

I posted this on another thread so I am repeating myself. I am a 993 cab guy. I love the cab. However, I saw Anthony's (Milazzo_997tt) Vesuvio C2S in person at Luftgekuhlt 8. It is by far one of the most beautiful 993s I have ever seen. In person and in light the car is stunning, it is well optioned and Anthony has tweaked it just right to make it even better. It was great to meet him there and speak with him. Great guy.

@Chuck W. It was great meeting you as well! I've always admired your car and enjoyed following your interior transformation. The seat and door inserts are the perfect complement to that interior. Pictures don't do it justice! Reading your window sticker and seeing your original MSRP, it's the highest optioned 993 I've ever seen!

Thanks for the kind words.

I wonder if you were able to order a 993 cab in Vesuvio? In all my years with the 993 community I can't recall seeing one in person or posted.

Is your shifter unique in the Vesuvio as well?

The shifter is the same steel grey color as it is in all C2S cars. I think in the vesuvio though, the steel grey accents both inside and out tie it all together.

Never seen a Vesuvio cab, but just saw my first Turbo and Turbo S. There was a C2S that recently sold in Munich and was supposedly purchased by a US dealer, so maybe it comes up for sale soon.
