Even with a tippy, this is a STEAL! Good luck with your sale, it won't last at that price!

Some more pics of the car, including interior would help you out a lot I think. GLWS

Hi guys,
The car is on the upper deck of a 4 poster lift and I've never taken any pictures for marketing purposes. The interior is nearly perfect with the exception of some minor wear on the driver's bolster. I am 5'10'' and 170 and a woman was the original owner. Ashtray never used. Car has been meticulously maintained by Blair Talbot, never driven in rain/snow. A no excuse car.

Chris,
Other owners with uncommon colors have asked how to certify how many of a certain color were in the US.
Mind to share how you went about verification?

Regardless whether you decided in favor of an early Targa: GLWS ... she's sweet, even before her new MY02 wheels!

I would be interested to know. Maybe I have an uncommon color combination.

Thanks Curve Lover. I must have posted those pics several years ago to show color. As you noted, car currently is on Anniversary finish MY02's. Michael Willhoit told me when I bought it that it was the only 993 C2S in the US. I have been contacted by a gentleman in France who has one as well and it's as rare over there as well. By the way, it's serial number ends in 1267 with a Dec build date, so it's among the very last batch.

Chris-- I immediately thought of a RLer from France. Was it Gillesdesvallois?
Great pics in his "My new 993 C2S L555 Paladio Mirage" thread.

BTW: was happily surprised by your nice PM & compliments, but sounds like yours is the stunning rarity in my opinion

I remember reading where you referred to the last US 993 that was built, & that yours was produced the same day.
Très cool

From the "Last 993" thread:

Yes, it was. I have exchanged notes with him on several occasions and found him to be a real pleasure.

I was reading through your old posts and you made the following comment on a thread about hitting a dear! "Sorry it happened to you too. I got hit with my 15,000 mi 98 C2S that never had a prior scrape. I did make sure the repair did not include replacing any panels and that VERY little filler was used. I can only say that in retrospect it makes a really neat story. When guys brag about their hunting success I can honestly say I bagged mine on opening day without getting out of my car". Might be something you want to disclose on a "no excuse" car?
