Default Oil weeping

I have nursed this for a bit now and it irritates me. After a drive I get about an 1" or so drop of oil on front drivers side of motor. Coming from upper area of number 1 cylinder. Can someone advise what they think it is? It'll run down onto orange hose that connects tube to flapper box, then starts to weep back with speed. Thanks

It might be that at some point you overfill it with oil. I would make sure your oil level is correct.

Have you checked the resonance flap? It leaks on top of the engine and drains right onto cylinder 1.

Leak at base of cyl 1 is pretty common on NA engine. Not sure if its the same with tt engine.

Cant find anything inside engine bay on left side, up front, down behind blower motor/ left diverter valve. For the most part, I can't see anything that is "wet" or even dirty on top of motor. Don't think the resonance flap pertains because it's not V-RAM intake.

The only way you will be able to isolate this leak is to first clean the entire area. Then run the engine for ten minutes and you will see where it is coming from.

Done that a couple of times. It's coming from above.

There isn't much on the topside of the engine to leak. Pull the engine air duct/cover on top of the engine fan. This will let you look at the number 1 cylinder. If it is dry then you're looking at a cylinder base gasket leak. Only other thing I can think of is thru bolt leak. But looking on top of the cylinder will tell you that.

Another possibility is the oil breather at the very center of the back of the engine (or the hose attached).
