Hi Jeff,

When are you planning to install the cat bypass pipes? I'd love to be there to hear the sound of your car once it's installed (DIY at Bob's? )

Hi Eric,

The Momo weights ~ 13-14 lbs whereas the Recaro PP weights ~ 6.5 kg so they actually weight the same. A couple of months ago I sat in Kim's YZ and he has the Recaro PP on his car and I just love that seat. But now I'm drooling over the GT3 Fabric Seats after seeing them in Ben's car

Pin,
You might want to take a look at the Sparco seats. The "evo"s" are = to PP's for about 1/2 price.

Hi Phil,

Thanks for the tips Phil, I will look into the Sparco seats as well. Now that you've mentioned it, I think I remember that Kim said the same thing too.

Thanks again for your suggestions Phil

LOL Phil

I can't wait to see you again on the track Phil, this time you'll be heavily equipped with Sparco parts

Phil, maybe you should ask Sparco to sponsor *your hobby*

Btw do you have pictures of the Sparco seats in your car?

Pin,

Matt Vaughan in Houston has the GT3 cloth seats in his car - and I think I remember he posted pics at some point. He may be able to do so again.

If you get them make sure and go through Gert. His mounts are correct for the 993 and simplify installation. Mine bolted in in a couple of hours.

The main downside is that the ET head rests are so wide that only the smallest package can be squeezed by for luggage in the rear seats....

You also may have to drill lower holes on the side mounts if you need the headroom for yourself or passengers with helmets. I have a relatively long torso and with the seats mounted as delivered my helmet brushes the headliner. I've had taller passengers who could not ride safely in the car on the track.

Pin, it looks like the pictures I posted last year aren't currently available. I'll re-post them this afternoon.

I you are taller than 6ft you ought to consider the Momo seats before you get the SParco's. I have the MOMO Acropolis seat and it is virtually identical to the Sparco Evo2 that EJ had in his car. The MOMO seats with sliders sat lower than EJ's Sparcos did without sliders. Go figure...
