Just made it in time for Porsche Parades in Monterey. I entered it in concours.
I even had the honor to follow our fellow RLer's Ben and Jaeger's Speeeedster at Laguna Seca I barely knew how to drive a manual just a week before then, and there I was, on the world famous Laguna Seca track going through the legendary corkscrew. Thankfully, I didn't stall.
Having admired your 993 on the concours lawn plus on the track, I can vouch that it looks even better in person.

May I ask you to elaborate more on the re-dye process? Did you have various choices in your dye-vendor and may you articulate your thought process in selecting the dye-vendor? I ask because I would assume there are many kinds of dye out there there has to be some gradient on risk / durability / ease of application vs. cost.
For the areas in the photographs below, are these areas in green circles a result of the dye not taking set?

Thank you guys for all the compliments ! I'm currently getting on a boat , going fishing out of San Diego for a few days . I'll have to get back to you guys who had questions regarding the process/details when I get back
