I've been looking into this also as I see it in my future soon. I think Bill nailed it.
My understanding from shop manual and thread research is you set the kinematic eccentric C to 1/2way (12 or 6oclock depending on your perspective), then adjust height, balance, toe, camber as Bill says and then adjust Kinematic eccentric C.
From what I read, seems when you lower, you have a hard time getting the camber right. Would a better strategy be to preload the Kinematic one way (mirrored each side) and then adjust so you get different Kinematic adjust range with better camber adjust?
I concur with Piranha, Dave Graff at Borelli Motorsports knows his stuff and I'll be using him for upcoming re-alignment. He adjusts 993 kinematic using a bump steer technique which just made perfect sense. That's really what kinematic is right? bump steer for the rear?

BTW Steve - thanks for the tips on the additives, I'll try them. As for the "Italian tune up": there are 4 opportunities for this on my commute and I usually get to enjoy one. Is it OK to do an "Italian" every day?

Thanks Mark and Piranha, I spoke with Brandon Kraus and will most likely get her up there next week sometime.
IanM, this is why I really need help getting this correct. I fabbed these arms and made these eccentric locks. So even though I tried to set the length of it the same (end/end center/center) as the original, I am sure they're totally wacked. Once it's done correctly, I will take exact measurements (as close as humanly possible in my garage (-: ) so I sorta have an index in the event I have to tear something apart.

It seems to me the kinematic rear toe is a function of the height of the vehicle. If one adjusts the vehicle height to the same level as when the toe was last adjusted is there any reason to readjust the it? Porsche eliminated this adjustment on later cars that share the same basic layout which suggests the rear end geometry can be adequately adjusted without this setting.
Your thoughts?

Finally got it dialed and pretty happy with the results. I'm sure if I followed Bill V's advise and removed the last synthetic bits, it'd just get that much better. But that'll have to wait for funding. Although I kept it a little conservative, the change in handling is immense. Can't wait to put it to proper use.
Thanks all for input, ideas and assistance.
