Some do, some don't. I had one done at an independent several years ago (part of my 30K service).

Rohan, do an archive search, and when you find the thread you are interested in, right-click on it and click on "properties". The url for the thread will be displayed. Highlight the url and do [ctrl]+[c] to copy it, and then simply do [ctrl]+[v] to paste the url wherever you want to. Or use the copy and paste commands under the "edit" drop-down box.
