Post CDR 210 Upgrade?

I have the most common radio in my car I believe, that being the CDR 1. I am thinking about getting a CDR 210, assuming this would be an upgrade but I am not sure. Can any of you tell me the following?

1) Is the 210 more powerfull as the 1 has only about 15 watts per channel?

2) Is the 210 a direct replacement in terms of wiring, in other words will the power and speaker connections just plug in from the 1 to the 210?

3) Will the 210 support a 6 disc changer? I already have one and perhaps the brand I have won't work, but does the 210 support any type at all?

4) I guess if the answer to 2 is yes, then this is a moot point, but does the 210 have it's own amp or require a seperate amplifier. I do not have the hi-fi system.

Well, any other information leading to a good decision for me is appreciated. I would like little more power mostly, but I also like the looks of the 210 and the in-dash CD.

Thanks,

Bill

i'm no expert on car audio systems but the cdr 210 is pretty weak IMHO. it does look neat & tidy in the dash tho...

mine came with the car but if i were to upgrade i'd explore aftermarket options.
