BUMP STOPS FOR M033 KIT?
Getting conflicting info. and need clarification. Supposedly, 993.343.301.00 is the front bump stop for M030 and M033 kits but have been informed that there are none in the U.S. Will standard U.S. 964.343.301.00 work? If so, should I cut them shorter? Also, no info. on the rear bump stop difference, if any. Can I use the standard U.S. 993.333.105.00? Cut them shorter as well?

Hi NC Track Rat
I purchased OE bump stops for my install of the H&R kit. Turns out the kit does not require them. This is why they may not be available. Order your struts/dampers first and call the manufacturers tech line to see if you even need them. The idea behind bump stops is that they provide a smooth transition from first contact to bottoming out. I also suspect they are intended to avoid damaging the suspension from a hard impact compression, although I am not sure of this.
As far as cutting them I suspect this can be done as they seem to work in an environment that is not what I would call precise. Just opinion here.
