Default Sun Visor Clips

In a classic case of "one of these things is not like the other one" I ordered some replacement sun visor clips from Sunset not long ago. The existing clips were worn and on really sunny days the driver's side sun visor would repeatedly pop out of the clip.

The clips that arrived from Sunset don't match the ones currently in the car. Judging by the groves in the headline leather, I'm sure the old clips were original. The old clips are shorter and wider. The new clips are taller and skinnier. The new clip P/N is 911-731-331-00-70B. I cannot figure out the correct P/N that matches the old clip.

This is such a minor detail, but I'm sure someone on RL has run into this one before. Here's are a couple photos (Top clip = old. Bottom clip = new):

Name: photo 1 (9).jpg
Views: 277
Size: 150.1 KB

Name: photo 2 (9).jpg
Views: 275
Size: 115.4 KB

Its such a subtle difference, but it bugs me seeing the indentations in the headliner where the old clip's outline used to be. Thoughts on where to get the wider clips from?

FWIW, that is the part # that Pelican suggests AND the one listed in the Porsche Parts pdf (PET) I have. Looks like some "change" has occurred without a revision of the part number...

There was a change b/c the old ones kept not working so Porsche redid the design. This was many years ago that they started supplying the newer part.

Plus the new ones are good for +10hp (bwahahah!)
