Default 3M protective film on Litronics

Has anyone installed a 3M film on Litronic headlamps?

I used the Stongard film that I bought from Eric @ liteswap:

It's made by 3M as well but thicker than the regular film used for the body parts. I think this would provide better protection against debris. Once you have it on, you can't see it at all unless you look for it.

I have the Catz HID and so far, I haven't seen any yellowing or any other effect from the lights. I think the Stongards are warrantied against any yellowing.
