Post Under-dash Water leak ! Help

Hi all,

Just had my windscreen replaced by a local workshop here in Singapore last week. It rained heavily this morning, and the car was in the rain for a good 30mins. Noticed water dripping onto my leg while driving back home. Sure enough, the under of the dash was damp. Washed the car and tested to see if it was my imagination, sure enough there is water coming into the driver side cabin via a duct. Could this be bad sealing of the windscreen or something else ? I guess this is the heating duct.. but im not sure. Can anyone shed some light ?

Thanks a Bunch !

My guess would be they have damaged or disconnected the sunroof drain tubes, use an air line to blow down the sunroof drain holes at the front of the roof, see if you can hear air coming out under the dash, its a 2 man job!

Tested the sunroof drain holes, they drain out to the bottom of the body just fine. Tested with the straw and water method, the water didnt contribute to the drip in the video either.
I taped off the front fresh air intake duct in the middle of the cowling, and sprayed water on the windscreen, sure enough, the drip started again. So its not the AC drainage thats clogged. (poured some water in the intake vent after, drained out the 2 drainage points under the car too)
I removed the front dash defroster vent trim and observed, no water there. I am stumped.

Why even ask the question here? You had no leak, you had a new windshield put in, and now you do. Take it to the company that did the work.

You stated the only fact you need- the fact you now have a leak. Nobody said you have to bash-simply go have a talk with them.

Why complicate matters, prior to doing the next logical step?

I have a similar leak and I believe it has been there since I purchased my car. I think it may be condensate from my A/C footwell vent.
