Well, I think a few of us from San Diego will be driving up next Saturday morning, based on some conversations this morning. So, at least a few RLers will be in Irvine on 7/5.

Whoever wants to head up from San Diego, I'd propose we meet at the rest stop on I-5 a few miles north of Oceanside and leave there at 5:40am sharp.....as in hitting 2nd gear on the onramp at 5:40am.

Dang, I'd definitely be up for a Palomar Mountain run. I've never done that in the 993. We could hit Couser Canyon Rd too. Plus sleep in a little later after the 4th.

I've got new tires going on Thurs, so this is a good way for me to get all the manufacturing crud off-on I-5. So, no curves for me prior to next weekend.

Palomar requires an early start as well-not good to be starting up S. Grade after 6:30am. Bikes and LEO's have more potential then.

I think I will be joining the run up to Irvine, may have a 928 in tow. Was up their 2 weeks ago and Magnus walker was there with one of his turbos.

Haven't been to C&C in a while, just got my 993 back and I need to put some mileage on, but we will be on our annual San Felipe trip for the 4th.

Thurs Evening bump. Got the new tires on, headed north early Saturday. Javier is backing out due to family need, but at least one car is headed up from San Diego. If Wes and his buddy go, it's 3.

I know Dave (f18drvr) is going to meet up there as well.

Have a good 4th all. I'm going to suck a bunch of fuel down the V8's throat tomorrow.
