I "know" this car! This was for sale in March again! I saw the car in February at TWS right after I bought mine... I spoke to the owner and he seemed a nice enough "business" type of guy. He said to me he did not have time anymore to do this, so he was selling the package ( car plus trailer) for around 33K. The car is riding on RSR suspension on modifed stock hats, has a different spoilers front and rear and all the legal mods for D stock PCA racing. The car was riding on 17" fikses I think with Hoosiers.
The car looked really good and at the time I beat myself for not knowing about it and buying the blue car... It looks like a great 1st car to cut your teeth in PCA racing. Like I said in the beginning the owner is motivated, he want to get rid of it, so i guess anything over 30K will take the package...

Dan. I too know this car. Maybe not as detailed as you do.
This car was bought from out of state (TX) solely for his desire to go 'racing'. It's been well taken care of my Sam Shalala who owns Pro Tecnik in Houston who are Porsche racing gurus and track support.
All I can say is I would buy this in a heartbeat if I didn't just buy/sell my car.
Whoever wins gets a good ride.

I have another question. I'm new to Porsches but I'm in love with 993's (friend of mine has a C2), but my question is this:
How much life could that car honestly have left? 130,000 BEFORE it was converted to racing spec? That seems like a HUGE amount to me. Am I wrong on that?

I know the owner, he & I would play together during white run group sessions at the PCA DEs -- we were pretty closely matched at the time, so it was good to have someone to run with. Very nice guy, and I agree - whoever finally picks this up will have a nice setup!

I actually have the wife seriously considering this car. Can anyone who knows more about it contact me tonight? (650 726-5892 after 7 pm PST) Not much time left in the auction and I'm not sure I'll get a response from the seller before it's over.
