Anyone know where to buy?

All the magnets we had on the car, including the replicated James Dean numbers (from his 356 speedster) came from Race Sign Specialists

Speak to Doug, he is very detailed and will make sure you have exactly what you want.

For those of you who missed out on the Parade of Porsches, heres my really rough gopro clip. Sorry for the shakiness as we didn't have a suction cup so we were just hand holding the gopro while having a dslr shooting pics in the other hand. Also sorry for the sound quality, I had to take out some parts of it as it was just too noisy OR I was yelling nonsensical things. Enjoy. Oh and feel free to laugh at my driving lines or shifting [or lack thereoff] haha. This is what happens when you throw someone who just sorta learned to drive manual about a month ago right onto Laguna Seca.

That is an Aquamarine Blue, 1957 Carrera Speedster and it belongs to Jerry Charlup. The car won first in class at the Parade. I recently photographed it and wrote its story – it was in Excellence magazine:

Jerry's a great guy and the car is awesome.

Drive down, 400+ miles of rain!

My car all cleaned up

JP's super clean Speedster

I think there were at least 5 CGT's there.

This thing was ugly in person, hard to tell what it really was.

6in spacer anyone?

No the hood is closed.

#2 of 3 Speedsters there. Funny for not really making one, there were a few there.

934

I saw at least 6 different 959's during the week!

GT1!

Mike-- I've long admired your taste in 993s plus your detailing & photography
...from afar, so it was a special thrill to meet your 'Scarlet' up close
To say she cleaned up nicely after your 400-mile drive would be an understatement:

Just posted on the PCA website ... https://www.pca.org/news/2014-07-02/...te-parade-2014

Twin Speedsters Reunite at Parade 2014

Amongst the 207 concours entries and 47 historic Porsches on display at the Porsche Parade Concours d'Elegance, there were two that caught our attention as much for their looks as the story they share. The "twin" 1954 356 Speedsters (#80013 and #80014) have much in common, such as their looks and Speedster-specific oddities, but until June 16, they hadn't been together since they shared a showroom at Max Hoffman's New York dealership in 1954. Watch the video below for the story on these special Porsches as told by their owners, Vince Bobba (#80014) and Bruce Ungari (#80013).

Dude .. that 'clean up' job was amazing! Especially considering there was no more room in the concourse 'prep' area by Saturday so it was the parking lot for most of us
It was great catching up with you over breakfast, I just wish I could have stayed an extra day and gotten a ride in your black beast to experience your new performance modifications. When I bring the Speedster up to Nathan's get together, Alex' shop in Bremerton will definitely be on my list of stops.

Thanks! Yea it was a bit of work to get it looking nice. Of course it was totally dirty again on the drive home.

Yea, we will totally hang out when you are in the area!
