Default Free ticket to Lemans for a favour

Guys
It's been a sad year. Haven't driven the car for 12 months, and I've been so busy with business/work that I can't even make the trip to Lemans this year. I've been planning this for 2 years and now it will have to wait till time permits.

Anyway - I have 1 ticket for Lemans this year. I can't go or refund it. So I'm happy to pass it to someone who really wants to go.

But there is one condition. You have to document the journey from how you get to the circuit, how you pick up the ticket, etc, etc, to the time the race finishes and how you leave the venue. You need to take a load of pics as well.

If you can do that it will be valuable information for us all.I couldn't find much info on the journey to Lemans and this info would be very handy in the future.

It's a good ticket too. Cost me 551 Euros. Pitwalk pass + T34 stand.
You can't sell the ticket either. I have to send ACO my and your details so they will let you get the ticket from the ticket office.

First come first served. The gang here will hold you to your word for the work you need to do.

So sad ....

Wow, that is very generous of you. I'm sure you'll make a fellow Renlister extremly happy. I wish it were me. I can't wait to see the pictures and hear the story of the winner.

Funny, I was just watching Le Mans (the McQueen movie) this weekend with my 5 year old. He was way into it. I told him that one day we would go together. Wish I could take you up on your offer, but we're still a ways off. Kudos to you for making some lucky RL'er very happy!

Looks like all the area hotels are booked for the 13th-15th. I have tried as many websites as I can think of and none of them list any available rooms.

LOL, they have been booked for months. Even when looking a year out you will have a tough time as most places only do rooms by the week. I stayed out in Sable Sur Sarth in a house for far less. Another cool town to check for availability is La Fleche.

Looks like there are some rooms left in both of those cities. Thanks!

Ok - someone is very interested and is checking if they can make things work to get to France. So someone at the head of the queue.

Please say hi to Mark Webber when you run into him. Tell him Ken from Aus says hi.

Thanks again for your generosity Ken!

Flight to Paris is on hold and rental car is reserved. Just got to get a sign off from work tomorrow, book some hotels and get final approval when my wife gets home from work tonight. If all is well I will be leaving this Saturday morning. Getting excited! I never do anything this spontaneous...

Hopefully my photo tour will live up to this gift.
