Parade Concours Parking
If you are registered for Porsche Parade and plan on attending (but not entering) the Concours event there are a limited number of parking spots just made available on the golf course for your Porsche. Go to your registration and look for the new box at the bottom of events.

Is the Concours closed to the general public? We will be in the Carmel/Monterey area during the Parade but can't attend any of the main events due to time. Would sure like to walk the Concours though.

Is this parking only for those that are registered Porsche Parade? I am planning on coming down for the concours but I didn't register for the Porsche Parade. I can't find anything on the parade website about this parking.

"I expect that traffic will be diverted along Mark Thomas Drive and you'll be directed to enter on the side of the Del Monte Golf Course to designated parking spaces a walking distance from the Concours field. That is how it's done for the Mecum Car Auction held at the same location behind the Hyatt Regency on the golf course during the Historics in August. We will wait for further information. And I will then posted ASAP."

Yes you have to be registered to get to the button to click on the parking. Over in 981 land there is a claim that parking will also be to the general public on the golf course as well, from a reliable source, although nothing official yet either from PCA or the hotel.

Right now the parking on the fairways is for Parade entrants with a Porsche. If you're not registered for Parade, you can park at the nearby college and take a free shuttle to the concours.
