Question Is it possible to post the microfiche parts diagram w/o violating copyright laws?

When I owned a 300ZX twin turbo, the twin turbo forum hosted the parts microfiche online. This made parts ordering so much easier. It would be nice if we could do the same for the 993 since the parts suppliers would also benefit because we would be able to say "I want part 993.xx.xx" rather than "that thingamajig that connects to the doodad that does the whachamacallit" and the spend the next hour requesting numerous faxed pages of the parts diagram.

I've been trying to order the rubber shroud between the fan housing and heater box since my rubber is torn (someone posted about this waaay back in May) and after 2-3 faxed pages from Pelican Parts, I still don't have the part # (I need to call them again today to get more pages).

Btw, if anyone has the part number for this, I would appreciate it (I'm assuming R&R is a <15 minute job with 3 bolts).

One great thing about NOT having the Pet is that if they give you the wrong part they have to change it. If YOU specify the wrong part, you may be stuck with it.

FYI, the Pet5 on CD is pretty readily available if you look hard enough.

Though I would never suggest anyone infringes copyright - it so naughty.

I didn't even know the Pet5 was available for sale. Someone told me that Porsche doesn't sell it to individuals. Wonder why?

I might be able to help. Can you be a bit more descriptive and I'll look it up.

Don,

I got the PET page from Pelican. Thanks for the offer though.

For those who need a part number for it, it's:
#964 106 403 02 "air duct" for Model M64.05/06, M64.07/08, & M64.20 M003
#993 106 403 00 "air duct" for Model M64.21/22 & M64.23/24

Go to Robin's p-car site if you're not sure which Model # you have (under the VIN section).
