Default Well sorted 993... Bored.

So my car is finally well sorted. I'm to the point where I just replaced the faded caps that cover the wiper arm bolts (both above and below the arms) and I'm having a professional rewire my CDR-220 that I did a few years ago (plus add a small amp). Frankly I'm looking quite hard to do any sort of DIY and I'm starting to get bored.

I guess I should be thankful nothing is needed? I know everyone will say now drive it (I do) but does anyone else feel bored with no pressing issues?

Sounds like its time for some mods, do you have a Golden Rod?

Aging will take care of this problem - or go to the track.

Is that a thinly veiled for sale thread?

Have you done the Walrod front bushings? That's a good one.

Kevin;

Why don't you show it? You will find things to return to "like new" that you did't know were there.

Ilko - That it is not. I've put off the 997 Turbo for now. Like I said, now that everything is well sorted... need to enjoy just driving!

I think you just jinxed yourself with this thread.

Wait a short while; something is bound to break on a Porsche coming up on 20 years old

I welcome it! (I kid I kid....) Such a love hate...

Now... if I get that Audi S8 I've been drooling over, then this whole problem will be a non-issue! I've already got a full quote for a suspension overhaul from Sunset!

I have a punch list on every single P-car I own and I have NEVER gotten a car to the point where there is absolutely nothing left to do. I am preparing my 88 3.2 to take to the Parade Concours and I have been steadily at work for 9 months on the most microscopic of tasks to make it as close to perfect as possible (and its a 8k mile car) and even thats fleeting. My 993 has a list of 5-6 to do items that I am attempting to tackle before 993FEST (slight weep R timing chain cover, airbag light just came on, remove window tint (never liked) align after slight ride height adjustment on PSS10, annual service etc, etc.) Never ending...
